Dear all,
I wonder if anyone can help? I have a VW Polo 2003 1.2 Never had any real problems with this - but of late the warning buzzer that alerts me to leaving the lights on has become intermittent or non-existent! Is this a dodgy fuse or is there somewhere else I should look. I've been lucky without the dreaded flat battery in the morning, but I fear it is coming!
Thanks in advance!
Regards
Simon
Warning buzzer for headlamps/indicators
Re: Warning buzzer for headlamps/indicators
I have had a few cars with this problem over the years, always just lived with it but it is worrying about the battery !
Door closed switches ? or door closed circuit wiring maybe ?

As above, also, but you have not commented on it yet, the interior lights will not come on when the door is opened if it is the "door closure micro switch" - or its wiring that is faulty.

Hey Rum,
Not my post, but same issue. To answer the question, my driver's door does not trigger the cabin light but the passenger door does.
