To be sure its the radio etc I'd replace all fuses and remove the radio unit from the vehicle, and see how things are for a few Weeks. A part that flattens the battery in a few hours will usually run warm and show signs of heating.

I would not of got one with out a code off Ebay, but have spotted a Manufactured reburbished one,My CD changer was playing up so sorted that out ,how long it has been like that do not know i have not used it for quite a while .If that was the culprit i will find out as i took it out and cleaned it plus all the connections.Hopefully i will find out if it has done the trick and the radio will not have the dreaded parasitic drain anymore.

Well after all that it seems that it was the cd changer, after cleaning the inside etc and all cable connections in the boot which are now sealed to stop moisture getting in, the battery has not gone flat enough not to start it and the drain from battery is now at a reasonable level.
So hopefully i will not have any more issues.
Thanks for those that replied.
