I am looking at buying some alloys for my Polo, I am unsure what it means when it says "6j". The standard steel wheels I have say "5j". What is the maximum or minimum I could go with this j number?

I've seen many 9N polo's retro fitted with the 15 inch x 6J alloys 6 spoke that were fitted to the end of line 9N3 models. They take 195/55 tyres and have 5 bolts. Some of the 9N polo's had 15x6J from new, like the tdi sport. Whether they will fit your model I can't say.
