Re: please help!!
That’s the one. Normally just removing it and cleaning it’s mounting points is enough unless the wire is physically damaged
You’ll be able to order that from the dealer

Re: please help!!
That is why I posted the little elec diagram from the Vauxhall Vectra glow plug modification, the vectra suffered from the same problem in that the glow plugs did not operate until below +4 deg c , but as the engines got older they needed the glow plugs to get a good start at warmer temps.macgiver_2 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 11:51 am Vw service told me friday that temperature those days on spain is not enough lower to activate glows.

Re: please help!!
Dear alex perkins cold start issue solved!!!!!!
Yesterday I changed the starter motor for a new one brand HELLA 8EA 011 610-091 2 kw.
I cleaned ground wire and now the engine starts perfect cold or warm,
The rotation speed is huge and now the engine starts in one or two seconds.
I recommended that starter motor I bought on amazon for only 100€

Thanks for help me.

Re: please help!!
You are welcome. The old one must’ve been too weak to provide enough of a crank when cold
Glad it’s fixed!
