Do I need new bolts to change from steel to alloy? (Also posted in another area)

Post by PatrykO5 »

Hello. I'm swapping my Polo 9n stock steelies to some Ibiza FR 2004 alloys. Do I need new bolts for these? Or will the bolts used with steelies be okay? The bolts are long enough so that's not a problem. Getting mixed results on the internet. Thanks in advance.

No, all modern VW Group cars use the same profile of bolts for steel or alloy.
