Please can anyone confirm what is the thread on the oil *pressure* switch on the cylinder head just by the EGR valve?
Considering to install an oil pressure gauge and want to be sure to get the right thread.

Re: Oil pressure switch thread
Reason I ask about the thread is I'm considering to install an oil pressure gauge and need to know the correct thread for the sender.
There are not many locations to place a gauge, so I'm thinking of just to the left of the window demister on the drivers side (and right of the instrument binnacle). This view in this location is partially obstructed by the steering wheel but should be OK. Is anyone aware if there is anything behind the panel before I go at it with my 52mm hole saw?

Re: Oil pressure switch thread
Cool stuff
Maybe look at getting a boost gauge air vent holder - no drilling then!

Re: Oil pressure switch thread
Will do, thanks.
Will a 5 bar gauge cover the likely pressures OK?
