Hello everyone,
Got an odd issue with the Polo 2004 1.2 3 cylinder. Scanning error codes a Misfire in Cylinder 1 showed up and upon doing measurement readings on VCDS I saw Cylinder 1 is misfiring but not on every compression. Seems to be like every 2nd or 3rd stroke there is a misfire as engine feels quite smooth and does not shake violently. As it was up for a service anyway, I replaced the oil, air+oil filters, spark plugs and coils. However, the misfire did not go away, so I swapped coils but it stayed with cylinder 1.
To investigate further I also did a compression test:
Cylinder #1 - 162 PSI
Cylinder #2 - 175 PSI
Cylinder #3 - 174 PSI
which seems to be within the spec limits.
I have't tried to swap the injectors yet but someone I don't think it would be an injector at fault.
So any ideas what could it be?
Thank you.

Check the injector loom over. They have a habit of failing
