Have done a VCDS scan and looks like my G28 is playing up. Has anybody changed one of these as it looks in the most impossible place to get access to. At least from underneath I can see it, from a long way off with a torch. Does something need to come out from above or below to get sensible access? My engine is a BKY. Thanks in advance as my engine is running lousy. Sooner I can get this swapped the better. Rough idle and misfire at standstill once warm and limp mode with nothing over 3000 revs. Bummer
Rgds,
Andrew
G28 sensor replacement on 9n 1.4 16v

Had same problem with mine. G28 change cured it but had to use a ramp to get to it. Had to remove engine mount dogbone for better access but even then it was a pig

Someone will be along shortly to confirm but I thought you could access this sensor by removing the starter motor.
