Buying a Polo for first time, clutch concern, can you help please?

Post by Mrdanielcook »

Hi there, we be been put in a situation where we need to buy a new car really quickly. My wife has seen a great Polo Dune, 63k miles. We’ve not got time to drive another for comaparrison. It has a fantastic service history and has been welled looked after. The only thing i noticed is a very high bite point on the clutch pedal. I’m not sure if this is the norm for a Polo? Any thoughts please? Thank you. Dan

The bite can be a little high on these.

Best thing to do is see if you can pull away in 1st, 2nd and also 3rd. Thatll give you an idea of how worn the clutch is.
