Heater

Post by Andrew S »

1.2 Polo
Any ideas why on occasions I get cold air on the passenger foot side and warm on the drivers side even with temp on warm or even full on hot? When I put my hand up under the dash I can feel cold air blowing down onto feet but when I put my hand close to heater, its clearly warm to touch.
Odd
Any suggestions please
Thanks
Andrew

I'd think that it is down to poor design of the motorised flaps which is allowing one side to allow too much cold air to bleed through as the outputted air will always be a blend of unheated incoming air and incoming air that has been passed through the heater matrix, might be as simple as some foam sealing fallen off.
