Vw polo 9n driver door centre locking button issue

Been trying to find a solution to this on Google but have been unable to.


My driver central locking button does not work but lights up, I find it quite annoying as I can't lock the doors when I'm driving.
car is vw polo 9n mk4 2002 5dr
