Steering wheel light on dash intermittent

Hi there help needed pls.
I have recently purchased 2002 polo
1.4 s tdi. And have a few issues one of them is steering wheel light comes on dash intermittent
And headlights are flickering a little
Dashboard lighting also flickers slightly.
Any help or point in right direction will be much appreciated.
