Leak from coolant housing

Post by fido69r »

Does anyone know or have experience of leaks from the pipe shown in the picture. Is that part of it replaceable separately? It's the top left of which the hose goes to the Rad...It looks like it may be removable..Idk...thanks

Its better to replace the entire flange as it breaks down over time. Not overly expensive - go original without a doubt, or febi as a backup choice.

Yeh, I replaced the one in my golf which decintegrated.. Just doesn't lose the water as quickly on the polo. Guessing a pipe leak is unlikely?

Almost certainly not the pipe. The hoses generally outlive the car
