Another MOT passed!

Post by ballibeg »

Got to love it. 90,000 miles, 42mpg on motorways, 50mpg normal pottering around and MOTed for another year. Not bad for a 15 year old 3 cylinder 1.2.

It aint all bad news folks.

Mine also :D , 2004 9n 1.2 12v petrol 72,000mls.

Nothing to do witht he MOT but just had the auxillary belt and tensioner renewed as there was a loudish vibration between 1000-1750rpm when accellerating.
Turned out it was the belt slapping on the skid casting just above the sump pan, caused by a weak tensioner spring. The top of the old belt was shinny where it had been rubbing and the old tensioner pully could be lifted by 1/2" quite easily. Can't do that with the new one.
