12v (dedicated) Feed - Connection & Routing to boot

Post by kitbrettr »

Hi There,
I am looking to install a bypass relay for towbar electrics, and need a dedicated 12v feed to run from either the battery or fuse panel
into the rear boot compartment. Does anyone have expereince of this and able to advise how and where the feed should be connected (fuse panel or battery) and what route the cable feed should take to the boot compartment?

Thanks

Chris

The easiest way is to take a fuse in the fuse box in in the dash panel. If you go for the battery, that's fine as well. Just remember to always fuse the wire.

Thanks for your reply there. Do you know which fuse I should use to 'piggy back' and should it be a dedicated feed for a bypass relay?
