Jerking on DSG DQ200 after failed Basic Reset

I'm new to this forum. I own a Vw Polo 2010 with a DSG 0AM Gearbox with 36,000mile on the clock. i bought it from a retired old lady few months agoI was having a delayed accerelation on standstill when taking off but once it takes off gear changes are good. I learnt on this forum that resetting the gearbox might fix things. I borrowed a friend VCDS and did a ROSS TECH 7speed basic reset but it always ends up with 255/85/0. Driving the car after made the delayed accerelation much worse. I decided to take it to a gearbox specialist to correct my mistake which they were able to do. The specialist told me that he has corrected the failed reset and everything is fine by recoding and doing a DSG adaptation.

I was much happier until i took the car and it was jerking from D2 to D5. It's much worse especially when driving up a hill but less noticeable when you hard accerelate from stop. Sometimes i do hear a clunk when downshifting and slowing down but thats intermittent. The car wasnt jerking when i took it to the specialist but it was a bit hard sometimes to get going from stop.

Did i do something wrong? The specialist said there is no code on the transmission to know what is going on. I do blame myself for trying to do fix something that isnt broken. A friend mentioned that it takes time for the gearbox to learn, that it should get better with time.

You probably has a wrong firmware flashed to your dsg tcu. Wrong firmware can cause jerking and rough gear changing. Firmware depends on VAG brand/model / engine displacement and gearbox model. Find a VAG specialistto help you
