don't know where you can get those chrome embellisher things from, might be an idea to PM jim and he can tell you where he got his from, he posted in this thread above jim1500 :wink:

thanks, a question guys, bump strips, can you remocve them on a mk2, or are they secured on through the body, resulting in bondo and a new paint job!!
i hope they jstu stuck on, because then they coming off on saterday, lol

They're just glued on, but make sure you heat them with a hairdrier and remove them carefully or you'll pull the paint off ;)

what would be the process in removing the bumps, just read a iv polo topic that helps...would like specific help for my mk2 though, thanks for the help

woooo...debumped 2day :> looks amazing, something like this gold mini i saw once with no rear bumper, if i get wide wheels on it now it wil look AMAZIGN from the side, i am soooo pleased , took ages to take off teh sticky s**t, and the nail on my thumb is killing now due to scraping, but it was all worth it, i really reccomend anyone to debump their cars...wil get pics up soon

Get some wheels of a MK3 GT or saloon, they are the same sort of wheel just look broader!
