is there a code/product code relating to my gearbox??

A mechanic has asked me for a code and i haven't a clue what he means!!??

He may mean the model code for that gearbox, a each box should have its own unique model number for that model of polo.

Sorry i aint got a clue where to find it stamped :( :(
