eBay never ceases to amaze...

Post by Si_GTi »

Polo 6n2 all-red rear lights. VAGparts will do them for about £30 each side plus postage at less than £10.

Somehow people fail to realise this and get pulled into a bidding war on a used set. Every time I watch a pair on eBay they go for mad money :?

Madness! I must make a trip to my local scrapyard some time and get a pair (I want a spare pair to modify), they probably won't cost more than £30 tops!!

You could probably go to VW and get them cheaper than that.

I want some as well so I can modify the wiring to take LED bulbs (just add some resistors) without butchering mine.

I bought a set of rear lights for my old mk4 gti for £45 delivered from a scrappy, and sold the on Ebay for £92 delivered.

Don't people shop around, or do the assume, as its on Ebay, its going to be cheap?
