My polo's been vandalised!!!!

Post by polo_mint »

Got home the day after my birthday (sunday) to find that someone's thrown paint stripper or something over my beloved polo..... (for those of you who dont know, she's the pink one with cut out stars on the bonnet). It's over the roof and bonnet...... Need a full respray......

I think it was one of my exes........

Well it could have been a random attack for a laugh, but the fact that it happened on my birthday seems too coincidental....

...plus the fact that one of my exes threatened to do it to his ex....

Looks like they went to the trouble of buying paint stripper.
Fooking nice thing to greet you in the morning as you
head off to work....NOT.I know it's only a Renault Clio
but it was her pride and joy,now she can't even bare
to look at it never mind drive it.

Thats appalling!! They've done a proper job of it too, pretty much every panel!

Do you know who it was?

Yeh it looks as if it's a write off.Just put a shed
load of new parts on it last week.I'll try and buy
it back from the insurance company but and give
it to my youngest sister because my Gf doesn't
want it anymore.Looks as if the GT is going to have
to come out of the garage for a while.Good job i
got it MOT'd yesterday.

Bloody hell! Thought I was the only one!!!

But even if only one panel had been touched on mine it would be a total respray as it's custom paint. I don't really want to claim on insurance as I'll lose 4 years no claims and have to pay £600 excess. Had her for nearly 6 years now... she's my first car and my baby

No....nothing.Lived in this street for 2 years now and
honestly have not had a crossed word with anyone. My
Gf is a Community Youth Development Worker and works
with kids but not in the area we live. The Cops just said
that it was an act of mindless vandalism but no other cars
in the street were touched and none of the neighbours
heard or saw anything.

f*****g bastards should be strung up by their balls!

really sorry to hear about both of these incidents and i hope that they all get sorted soon!

makes me worried coz things like this have happened round my way, my neighbours car had F**K scratched into the bonnet, 7 cars got done that night and then a couple of months ago, another neighbours van had the initials of a local gang spray painted onto the side!

me, doug sometimes hollie all leave our cars on the road some nights to avoid waking (nice) neighbours late at night!
