That time of year again, any recommended insurers?

Insurance time again this month!

Anyone got a good quote on a modded car? (alloys, lowered, air filter, cosmetic changes).

Tried adrian flux and HIC but got really high quotes for some reason!

Call Brentacre http://www.brentacre.com/

Very good with all mods and know what they are talking about.

Agreed. Very highly recommended! Mention the fact that you are an active member on both uk-polos.net and clubpolo.co.uk and you should swing a discount on the premium too!

Now you post that Si

Another vote here for Brentacre though, it's so nice to not have to expain what "I've smoothed the bumpers" actually means

Thanks for the recommendation everyone!

Called Brentacre, had a nice chat with the bloke about the car and he let me have my stupid 10 month accelerator thing from elephant as 1 yrs no claims!

Result = by far the cheapest quote I've had and any mods up to 130bhp with no further charge. They are letting me pay in installments for only £50 more too - bonus!

I had the same problem with the 10month Bonus policy, it would have been 2 years ncb with Elephant but Brentacre could only recognise it as 1.

It's more than my renewal would have been with Elephant but the advantages outweigh that by far.

Mines the same for 12 months as it would have been with elephant for 10 months! Definitely got a bargain I think, especially seeing as I put my bf on the policy too and he has 3 points from speeding.
