Tornado red Gt and caribbean green 1.05l parade

Post by aroncmc22 »

Maybe buying a different polo at the weekend so if i do these will both be up for sale....

Red Gt:

Mot till Oct 19th '08, tax runs out friday 30th of this month

Was bought last week with the thought of doing a conversion on the green one

Bought as a non runner, think it should be a fairly easy fix. little bit more of an explanation here:

http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.p ... opic=88091

Has absolute full service history, for all bar 2 years of it's life was owned by an old couple who spared no expense it (£200-300 services every 6 months!).

New rear exhaust box July '07

Bodywork isn't perfect and needs a little attention for it to be a show car but is solid and straight with only a few rust spots. The interior is practically perfect.
Will get pics up after lunch but it's quite a dull drizzly day so they wont really do either of them any justice.

I only want the £180 that I paid for it last week
*edited I've had a lot of interest in the Gt so £200 takes it away on it's own or £150 if you buy them both*

Mot and tax till end of march '08

Now this little beaut has been my pride and joy since i've owned (july '07) and have spent quite a bit of money on it so really will be sad to see this one go... Definately worthy of Gt'ing and I would love to see it so you could buy them both!

When I Purchased it in July it had absolute full service;
Oil/Coolant change with new, air/oil and fuel filters, new plugs and leads, new coil, dizzy cap and rotor arm, blue temp sender and new clutch cable. Oh and it had cam and alternator belts changed, all done at 97741 miles. It's now on 102052 miles (so ideally will be needing oil change soon). It's my daily driver so miles will probably go up a little.

Bodywork is 98% perfect and completely straight with only a very small car park ding and a couple of scratches letting it down and a tiny bit of bubbling on the bottom of passenger door. It runs like an absolute dream and pulls brilliantly for a 1 litre. About 100 miles or so it also had new front discs and pads and new rear shoes and wheel cylinders so no worries about stopping either

Interior could do with a good clean though (or Gt'ing) but comes with the matching drivers seat (I only changed it cos I thought the fox ones a bit more comfy) and the orignal alloys (which are quite scuffed) so you could put it back to standard if you like. Oh and it comes with no sounds thou I'm afraid as I'll be putting my setup in the new car hopefully.

Looking for around £450-400 for this one and really want it to go to a good home.... I will sell them both together for £550

Sorry for the lengthy listing guys and girls, just wanna give as much info as poss.

Please dont hesitate to ask if you want any more info
