Death to the lumbles and WHEELS NOW OFF CAR FOR SALE!!

Post by Chally_Rai »

I am not really sure which members Lumbles knew and loved (back in the day) are still active on this forum, but for those of you who are still bumbling about, allbeit in a quiet kind of fashion, I am sad to say that my time here has come to the end of it's era, as I have to say goodbye to my dear friend Lumbles (Lum).

Everyone that knew her and knew me will know how amazing she was to me, but unfortunately a total of 14 MOT failures means that I will be saying a tearful goodbye and sending her to Polo heaven.

This does however mean that I have some wheels for sale, pictured on lumbles below.

Alloy Wheels Castellets (originally for MK1 and 2 golfs) with Porsche centre caps (copies), refurbed black, similar in design to Porsche Design 90 wheels. 14"

If anyone is interested please gimme a bell, I can send them DHL from where I work, which doesn't cost a lot. I will put up proper pics once I have taken some.

Not only will I now be lumble-less, but I will be polo-less, vw-less and as of September 18th UK-less..as I am off on some lame attempt to save the world in developing areas... But! I would like to say that it has been a pleasure, you all welcomed me when I didn't have a clue, helped me out with lum's tantrums, her visions (photoshops!), even entertained me at work on the now redundant but not forgotten 'workdays' post... and for all that both me and her will be forever grateful.

Lum hopes you won't forget her either, bless her.

Lemme know if you are interested in the wheels!

Lots of Loves,

Rach x

Poor Lum, its wierd how people get attached to cars isn't it, when my old golf 'rusty' got stolen from its new owner I was kindof upset even though it didn't belong to me anymore!

Good luck with the travelling, sounds like a great thing to be doing!

I told Simon about Lum and he said he'd rescue her depending what she failed on (he's a mechanic)!
