Yep thats the guide I followed...But bare in mind I've just done it and its a right git of a job.....Really is hard work. Console bushed are super tight to get in and then the wishbone is as bad. Knackered both my arms and the ratchet straps I had and had to buy a right big git to get the wishbone in in the end....Worth doing though as feel much happier with the Cupra ones fitted and hopefully won't have to do this job again. In hindsight I may have taken it to my independent specialist and got them to fix it witht he cupra bushes.

This is ultimately why I sold my Polo and wouldn't buy another apart from the Ibiza Cupra. :(

I wonder what design fault the next model Polo/Ibiza/Fabia will suffer from?

Sorry for the sombre post, I hope the OP gets it all sorted out with minimal cost. :D

I have to agree, a very flawed and not so cheap little car, as I've said before - a proper "wallet raider". My reason for getting an indep VAG specialist to do this work was mainly all about not want to immobilise the car if I damaged a console - and of course it would need four wheel re-alignment as I would have taken the colsoles off to work on them. I even costed buying two new consoles and replacing the standard bushes with Cupra ones - I think that it was £75 + Cupra bush + maybe dealer time to change bushes, also costed me removing the consoles and getting the dealer to change the bushes like for like - niether made any sense against getting an indep VAG specialist to do the work - even although it meant travelling quite a distance.
