it will make alot of difference where you have the filter as if you have it at the front of the car the air is getting forced into the bay into the filter but yeah nice one for getting the BMC ;)

I would've mounted the K&N where you fed your cold air from, behind the grill (If it fits behind there). But don't really matter now.

On a another note, get your priorities right!!! You could've got coilovers for the price of a K&N and BMC 8)

I cant see it being any different to mine. If its a MPI I would say so but double check with K&N.

Just checked for you mate. They sell one for 1.0 and one for 1.4. But not totaly sure the difference. Somebody on here may know?

Maybe the 1.4 is just slightly bigger? Cant see it being a problem though.

just check the sie of your throttle body mate i think it should definitely be 50mm as well as the 1.0l is exactly the sameengine just not bored out to 1.4

the only difference i think is the 1.0l has only one breather i think so what yu do is put the plug in the bottom ot the k and n and block it i used a bit of old teatowel and a zip tie on my 1.4 as i removed one of the breathers also

im 99.9% sure it should definitely fit

i think ou shud maybe slightly smoke/spray the top brake light above your rear window, looks a bt out of place with your rear black lights

car is looking tidy otherwise though 8)

Damn you! I didn't notice that

Wont smoke it for a while as I had a small leak from there and its sealed on there. Might do that in the future though or try and pick up a second one and smoke it ready for the swap. Cheers.

Thanks for comments

i think witha bit more colour coding with black the lights will fit in really well. i think they look allright now though.

Could try window tints, black vw badge, black alloys, etc...
