Right, considering a Fabia VRS to mainly use for my job! What things should i look out for with the VRS? Is there any key things that seem to go wrong with the car? I get the impression its an all round sound car!
Thanks in advance people

I've had my VRs for 3 years 2 months and also used this for work purposes. Now at 43,000 miles then engine (standard) really starts to open up and it's also an excellent cruising car, but beware you can easily enter 3 figure speeds without realising it.
In 3 years the only thing that's been replaced is a brake caliper, then that was done under warranty, other than that the car is faultless. I could be moving onto a Roomster or Golf Plus as I'm starting to need to extra space the Fabia is lacking, shame really as for me this is the only let down.
Happy motoring.

Cheers for that Des. I test drove the VRS today...it was on 55,000 miles...a little too high for me. But i the bloke showed me the special edition in blue with leather etc...mmm very nice... but at 13k...its something ill have to see wether the business can stretch to that amount easily enough. Its definantly something i will be going for, it was a brilliant cruiser, and was very nippy! and also quite good at handeling

Hi i used to have a vrs but sold it (big mistake) look out for leaky rear doors as it was a common problem, unless its under warranty, apart from that not much

55k is nothing on that car.
I've done 35k in 18 months and will (have to) continue to pile the miles on at that rate.
I've had a few niggles but nothing unexpected from my 9N days...
It did once stick me in limp mode due to a failed crank position sensor.
Btw - most of my youtube channel is taken from within the VRS: https://www.youtube*.com/dxg999
A couple that should encourage you:

Deek.

They are great cars, looked at them too but ended up going for a Polo GT which has the same engine
I really like the limited edition too!
