Really like this one dude, wheels look spot on!

Like you said, its very easy to ruin a car that looks so good standard.

Thanks mate appreciate your comments, theres nothing really that I think would enhance the look of the car for now so it will be staying as it is for the near future anyway.

'dantheram' the eibach springs cost £90 to fit :)

They are alittle more difficult to find as the GTI has wider sills than the standard 6N2 models.I managed to buy mine new off of a VAG specialist on Ebay.Just keep your eyes peeled,if it helps the part numbers for the two are as follows only i cannot remember which is which so check see what the backs have written on them, may make it abit easier when visiting VW,

6N0075112
6N0075101A

I think fronts would finish the outside of your car off  .

Managed to get hold of the front mudflaps and Ive fitted them today, thanks for the part number bradders! Also ordered brand new front indicators and side repeaters because the front ones seem to have a bit of grime inside them that I cant get to and clean and one of the side ones had moisture in. Should freshen it up a liitle. Cost £30 for everything all geunine vw new parts - off the bay ofcourse

Brief update, I saw these lupo gti sill protectors on ebay and enquired as to wether they would fit the polo, and they do. I think they look really smart, pic doesnt really do them justice because of the light, not seen them on anyone elses gti yet either so its a bit different:

They look quite cool, have you got a picture showing the whole sill with them on?.I like them but kinda like the simplicity of it just being colour coded.

I think you're the only person ive seen that puts the log book in the proper place haha.

long distance aerial shot, the gti is no match in peformance against the dad's golf gt sport tdi 170 on the drive but it does sit well :)

here's a better picture of the gti sill plates, bit of sun reflection on them though so not a great photo still.

Update - sold the gti today, was really sad to see it go but its gone to a good home and Im sure the young lad who bought it will treat it well and Ive told him to get on the forum. Im moving on and risking one of these, hopefully I will not regret it:

Congratulations on the sale dude,if you don't mind me asking what did you get for her in the end?.

Im not really feeling the Alpha but thats only my opinion,im sure with a few subtle mods like your Polo you could change my mind.

In the end this was the gti's replacement ive had it over a month now and im finding it hard to fault. If you can put up with averaging 20mpg and the occasional oil top up then I can highly reccomend them. I will always be fond of the gti still though.

Not everyones cup of tea obviously but opinions are welcome good and bad ofcourse.
