Yeah was a Wednesday, early afternoon, I was in my work truck and saw you!

I travel the UK a lot and can count on one hand how many Mk7 GTi's I've seen on the road! Was good to see one!

Congrats on the little man dude, exciting stuff!

Been a little slow getting these pics up.

Been looking for a new set of wheels for over 6 months and found these
Too many Polo's with TT comps although they do suit the car i had to have a change.

7 x 17 front
9x17 rear
Porsche Boxster Twists

Feel free to let me know what you think as i know they aren't going to be to everyone's taste.

Excuse the phone pics forgot my camera.

Also fitted some Mk5 GTI front and rear headrest's

Also got a cheap set of Brembo's that required some TLC.

Image

Image

I was just going to rub them down and re lacquer them

Image

Image

But decided they had to be fully redone so split them

Image

Then sand blasted them back to bare metal

Image

Image

And blasted the pad retainers and pins

Image

Put them back together

Image

Image

Coat of primer

Image

Image

Then few coats of red high temp paint

Image

Image

Image

Image

Stickers on although not happy with it so will be revisiting this

Image

Image

Then gave them a coat of lacquer

Just need to get a set of brackets made to fit with my 312mm discs and some braided lines and get them on

All comments welcome.

Thanks Matt_123.

Can't see any problem you painting them red as they're completely different wheels.

Cant wait to put the brembo's on think it will make a big difference in the breaking (although very happy with the 312's and Tarox pads) and will look great behind my wheels

I bought the wheels like it but have the contact details for where they were done in Huddersfield

They were powder coated and then they lacquered.
They have an amazing shine

The company do stuff for Ferrari and big end cars so the finish has to 100%+

They are called Unicoat 01484 842 123. The guy is called Paul.

What condition are your wheels in?

They can sort out minor grazes but not
