Before people complain about my speeding, it still tops at 126.

I hit 139 on a few occasions on different roads at different times but 126 in the fog at -5 is the same as last week when it was warm running on 99 ron fuel.

least you did it on the motorway, got people doing 60 where I live in rural london haha.

Does sound like they havent set up the ratios properly, going from my time with gran turismo 3 :) if you shorten them it would accelerate faster but lose top end speed. So that could have happened. 140 Seems fast though for a polo, considering an r32 is meant to go 150mph standard.

I agree. I will just get them to rebuild it in feb. It does feel slightly faster to 100 mph. Will be it's 4th build in a year :(

A R32 will get to top speed quicker but my old astra coupe turbo hit 155 on the M4 coming back from sommerset to london. 119 miles average speed 139 on the cars computer. I got back in an hour and then got pulled for doing 34 in a 30 100 yards from home!!!

I have driven the new shape R32 and didn't like the paddle shift box. I sh1t the life out of the VW sales man on the test drive.

Its not nice to talk about people when they are not here, lol.

Right, spoken to the mechanice who built the box and he said it was the same ratios but couldn't tell me which ratios he use (someone is a liar) but we have agreed a rebuild mid feb.

I have kept my speed down since I was told it was my wheel bearings that are making that grinding noise. Only too 6 mechanics to find!!!
