Replacement rocker cover....

Post by The G Man »

My Mk2 polo squareback rocker cover is seriously rusty and am looking to replace it. Anyone know of anywhere that sells new ones or where I could get a decent 2nd hand one from? Looked on ebay but it's getting SERIOUSLY hard to source parts these days. My ride's 21 next month and still going strong (apart from the bad oil leak) Am wondering if it's somehow seaping through the rusty rocker cover as it does look damp in one place.

Any help much appreciated.

The rocker cover gasket fails all the time on these, if you havent already replaced it do that :)

If you use a later polo one (ie mk4) you will need to put a breather into the cover though as these dont have a breather outlet from factory in the cover.
