there is guy not far from em that does this on the road mapping he gathers all the data after mapping it then sends it away and u get ur final map supposidly hes the best like but hard to get hold of

Nick at rtech does this I'm in the process of getting the bits I need for remote mapping then he will do it for me so mapping the car on way home

Tidy like looks like mines going back to dastek in fife where the car was originally mapped the first time and will be mapped on the rollers heard good things about them so heres hoping all goes well

Today put a smile on my face the car was boosting away but only tempremental she is very very laggy at times and then out of nowhere after changing gear woooooosh away i went with a massive grin. She has a little purr to her now aswell.
Looks like my problem was when the guy put the blanks for egr on and took it out and she boosted fine after a while these warped so the exhaust side was leaking. New better bLanks on and now shes alot better. looks like shes going for her remap on saturday so got to get my fmic on tmoz just hope it isna raining

Haha ended up in the pub last night and defo feelin it today plus its raining but il power through just waitin on a mate with his grinder then im going to my grannys garage to do it, got ur guide and one other off briskoda handy to fit it so hopeing it will all go smoothly and ready for the remap tommorow

My guide was for the forge one so may be no good for your setup. May help tho. Have u got a little dermal? They are very helpful for neating up little bits.

Well getting that bloody thing on was an absolute night mare 9 hours of my life i will never waste doing that again. I can see why scott thought that the aircon had to come out but i think u did what i did and put it on upside down the inlet and outlet are offset outword to the front was baffled for ages thinking about what to do. Ach and the bumper jeeso that was another bastrd to do had to grind into every grill and the and all the s**t from underneath where the light was. Also had to completly remove the bumper bracket beam so not much is supprorting my front bumper at the moment.

Now i was hoping for 220bhp but instead its the exact same performance hq tried there best but for some reason the car just would not boost on the rolling road so was impossible to map it will be going back to be properly diagnosed and mapped but that wont be until after new year due to me being offshore and the holidays gutted

How frustrating. Are they turning the fuel up? Sounds stupid but awesome forgot to do mine n it didn't get a power increase

its really odd mate i cant get my head around it. when im driving on the roads if i pump the throttle on the bad spot it will boost away, if u just stick ur foot down u get a load of black smoke and a drole rattle. also when my car was mapped for stage 1 it was done using one of dasteks unichips which can control the fueling and air mix so there still thinking whether to remove it or keep it in as i may get that little bit more power.

thought id write a little update. had a ballache getting this thing mapped, spent loads disgnosing faults which found nothing so i gave up on performance hq and went to GI motorsports who deal with jabbasport. GI also failed to map it because there was something on the ecu blocking them writing the map so i had to send my ecu off to jabbasport themselves. jabbasport have successfully mapped it but i have to wait 14 days till im home from offshore before i can find out if its worked
also had my freshly refurbed montreal 2s put on wrapped in michelin pilot sport 3s which are awesome btw and i have upgraded the front brakes to some grooved discs and pads from an octavia vrs. near face planted the dash when i first had to use them hard
anyway il get some more pics up and hopefully have her rolling roaded when i get home if the map has been successfull, just hoping my flywheel lasts as im unaware if it was changed to a single mass or not
