Big Update Today! 14/3/2012:

Took a trip up to Weston-Super-Mare today with my mate Aaron to get some BBS RX2's from the user `dropitlow' aka Luke.

Some of the alloys look better then others but nothing a refurb can't handle, I just bought some new things for the wheels today.

1. Some tyre valve dust caps as none of the tyres have any on them.
2. Some copper slip as some of the nuts and bolts are rusty and could do with some greasing over.

And some center caps that arrived today as the ones on my new wheels are a bit scratched up..

Here are some pics of my car sitting on the new wheels!

Been having this same problem for the past few months as well with this stupid `Exhaust System Warning Lamp' light that never turns off, Luke plugged it in today and the code was 16520

Image

Ran it through the fault codes with VAG and it said
`16520 P0136 O2 Sensor Circuit - Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)' so thats pretty much sorted which I'm relieved about now!

Also should be getting some TA coil overs this weekend so she should be sitting nicely on those wheels soon, can't stand how big the wheel arches are at the moment! haha

Cheers

Update 29/3/2012:

Finally got rid of the stupid exhaust system warning lamp! Got the rear lambda sensor replaced and then discovered that the front sensor was faulty as well said something like a heating malfunction.. The part was still under warranty so got it changed for free and now no more annoying warning light on my speedo!

Now I'm just waiting for my coilys to arrive!

yea ive had mine checked over and they dont know wat the problem is they sed it may jus be like a faulty warning light like its being over-sensative or summin? but they said nothing to worry about :)

yea im thinkin i mite get my mirror sprayed the same colour as my car now :) see how it turns it, if it aint that great its only £4 for a new one haha

It's worthwhile getting it checked out though mate, my polo was burning fuel like a mother! Never seen my petrol go down so fast, I experienced a lack of power as well because my lambda sensor was protecting my engine so I didnt go over the top and blow something up under the bonnet haha..

Yeah I'd definitely buy one mate looks really nice.

That's about it, still getting used to the ride height and the speed I have to go over HORRIBLE speed bumps! Speed bumps are now enemy number 1! haha

Looks sooooooo good!

About the lows, just drive as close to the side as you can so people in a hurry can get past! I LOVE cars as low as possible 8)

Cheers man, its weird getting used to it as I've never had my car lowered before and all, suppose its just guna take a while to get used to and that. Speed bumps are horrible to get over and I can notice a hell of a difference with the suspension! Just a bit of a ball ache getting to and from work because I live on a hill with speed bumps like every 10-15 metres so thinking I might raise it 20mm just so I can get it off my main road and park on my drive.
