I have just recently had my battery changed on my Polo 02' 9N and as usual it put my radio in safe mode, I rang VW up for my code as I lost it and they gave me my code straight away over the phone which came to my surprise
. After then putting this code in, my radio now doesn't turn off my itself when I take the keys out like it use to before. Before the battery change I had a double din headunit in and it doesnt turn on when I plug it in but it still works as I tried it in my friends car. But failing with one head unit I put the factory one in and again it asks for the code again. Is this something to do with the logics of the radio still not recognising its from the original car ?Any help will be appreciated
