Good sensible choice mate 8) is it a premier edition?

EP3 offers the best value for money now on the Honda scene, a lot of haters but they are great cars.
If you do get one then a fast road set up should be your first mod because it transforms the handling (which is already good) and maybe add a JDM rear ARB too :)

Well this is truly a sad post for me, the polo has been pushed hard to it's limits of uniqueness and my personal choice, it's won shows all over and ppl love the car, is being featured in fast car next month now as they keep putting it back to get maximum exsposure etc. And now it's final resting place is in a big VW/AUDI as a centre showroom piece to attract customers in and help with sales. Couldn't ask for a better place for it as it's done it rounds come rain sun snow lol.

I got £4200 for it without the g60's so will be sitting in show condition with the mystery alloys on only.

Iv sold the g60's pretty much all ready to my sisters boyfriend for his mint mk1 golf, iv sold my polybush kit to Ashcroft, so that's £4700 for a civic type R without any money from my monthly wage to put to it, another spare £300 I can push to so £5000 isn't bad in feel.

Couldn't ask for a better crowd off ppl, unbelievable help and friends made on here and Facebook ha, so yeah il keep you posted on the new car and start a thread on this one or ask to put a MOVED ON THREAD. as many ppl on here have moved on so would be nice to see that progress outside the gti world.

Cheers boys n girls, don't forget me now.

Congrats dude, in my opinion that's a very fair price, im a huge fan of this polo, and always look forward to your updates.

Its going to be a weird feeling when it drives off though. Something you've put all that work into, but on to brighter things. Its pretty clear the jap bug has been bitting you for quiet a while now, so go and get one done.

Keep us updated mind :D

Means alot guys cheers for the loving, your 100% right about the jap bug. 80_% of me mates have immense jap motors from s15 spec r's to tb Honda civic egs running 220bhp plus. Had my first viewing of a premium edition type r today in Braintree. Rang the guy and had a good look at it, he took me and my mate out in it and droe nice but it wasn't for me, had to many faults such as front bumper and rear was hanging on, loads of crap in the car a huge picture denting the seats and steering wheel, curbed alloys, couple of first service invoices were saying no oil or next to none on 3 service sheets lol! So the owner never kept an eye on it. Had a mysterious repair on two receipts aswell that the guy didn't know about. So walked away, shame really as it's a rare car to be treated like that. But iv found another one in price and range in Milano red, comes with 6 months warranty and it's a dealer so can have a deal I hope.

Just need to sell my g60's now ha. And drive the quad for a whole week whilst my civic hunt continues.

You will find 95% of EP3's have curbed wheels lol mine was the same when I got it, 2 were fine but the other 2 have a few nasty marks on them.

Just be very careful with the Milano Red EP3's mate because the paint is awful, it's really thin so the pigment goes after a few years.
I went to view a "Milano Red" EP3 in Gloucester before I bought mine but it turned out to be bright Pink  and once they go pink the paint can't be brought back unfortunately, its a full respray job! Totally put me off getting one because it happens to 90% of them

I would keeping looking for either a Cosmic, Silver or Black fella or go out for a Championship White JDM yo!

Yeah the rear lights are a straight fit mate but the reversing lights are different so you will need to either modify the bulb holders or buy some new ones.
All the other bulbs slot in fine it's just the reversing light that is bigger on the Pre-Facelift

Well the polo is going tonight, she's all cleaned awaiting pick up.

But better news is I have a Honda Civic Type R Premium Edition on the very last final run, registered in 02/09/05
So it's got 70,000 miles, 1 owner from new, serviced every 6k, 2keys, runs like a dream, interior is perfect.

Bad points are dents in the bonnet like 4-5 conkers fell on it little ones il have my dent man remove.
Wheels are all curbed badly but again nothing I can't do. Il buy another set and refurb them.
Stone chips on the bumper due to motorway miles but yeah expected and I can do that easy.
Worst one is a small dent/scrap in the drivers door where he went down a London high curb, I can do it easily but all these points wasn't pointed out in the advert. BUT....
On and the calipers need a lick of paint, but there type r embossed ones. :D

I got £600 off the asking price due to the condition of the bodywork, no dents at all in the roof doors panels just perfect except the points stated.

But £5000 for a premium edition 55 reg type r is amazing with full service history one owner etc... Chuffed to bits.
