Hey guys, long time since I've posted on here..
Just this morning I was casually driving when this f*****g dick of a warning light popped up!
Couldn't really believe it if I'm honest. Since the first time the warning light came up like last year I have had
- The catalyic convertor changed
- The front lambda sensor changed 3 TIMES!
- A brand new exhaust system (Literally a week ago I got a new silencer for my M.O.T.)
I really need a new car!
Anyone else had this problem constantly since they got their Polo?
Cheers
Jamie

Have you not got access to vagcom? As it could be a range of things.

Re: Exhaust System Warning Lamp, BACK AGAIN!
The handbook refers to this as exhaust system warning, but it shows any engine management issue - throttle body, temp sender, lambda, cam/crank position sender, coil pack... really - everything!
You can get a OBD scanner for £15 off ebay. (I recently did this - surprisingly useful!) That's less than most garages charge for plugging it in once. The cheap ones have a book with codes in. They're not all in the book(!) but a quick google usually provides!

Exhaust System Warning Lamp, BACK AGAIN!
Any of these odbii readers are a worthy investment. They show you all the code numbers and a simple google on Ross tech wiki will tell you what's wrong and possible solutions. So worth the money! as said above can be any number of engine codes just some silly little thing.
