general question about suspension.

Just a quick question about the front struts.
are those holes that i've circled in the picture meant to be connected anywhere?
I've been having some problems when i go over 60 on the motorway. my car seems to be loose and starts to sway
as if wind is pushing against it and making me swerve, it happens all the time. i cant remember it happening before, but i only noticed this problem after
i got the front lower arms changed and bushes. I took it to a mechanic today he put it on a ramp and he goes theres nothing that looks wrong below the car.
Although i did notice something when he jacked the car up, those holes in the picture wernt connected to anything or bolted onto anything.
could this be why my car is swaying?

Should have drop links bolted to the front holes on each strut, which then connect to the anti-roll bar.

Should look like these but you can get them cheaper on ebay.

Only one hole on each side should be unused. That is where the arb drop links should bolt to.

right okay thanks guys for the quick replys.
Could this be why my car is swaying side to side?
is it a difficult job to fit these?
I cant believe why it wasnt there in the first place. Is this a standard part thats meant to be on the vehicle?
is it unsafe to not have these there?

im gonna have another look tommorow. But from what i can remember these drop link things were not there.
Judging by what i remember, seing as the drop links are not there, could i also say that the anti roll bar is not there either?

The rear ward hole is where as the guys have been saying is for the drop links to be attached to the shocker and the anti roll bar if the links are not there then that is the answer for the car swaying about. No doubt it will feel like a dinghy in water.

Thats exactly what it feels like! At times my car would start to swerve very slightly around corners and bends. Must get this sorted!
I shall be on the hunt for the parts now.
Would it matter if i put shortened drop links on the car even though its not lowered?

Would those be suitable? Come to a total of £17 after the discount, worried about the quality though.

turns out it was weak droplinks causing my very light steering and the swaying.
Changed them, now my steering feels a lot more stiffer and it doesnt sway at all.
