Spluttering help needed

Woke up to a non starting polo called aa out he got it running by cleaning the distributar cap now mis firing hard on drive but ok on idle, So I changed dizzy cap , rotary arm and plugs starts ok runs fine until you put your foot down hard on the accelerator the is splutters any one can help plz would be a great help .

Sounds like a fuelling, or air leak problem

Check all the hoses.

check the wires on the injector. I had a similar problem a few years ago and it turned out one of the wires had worn through and was arcing and wouldn't run right. I changed the plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, I even did the head gasket cos of the way it was running. all that for 1 pissy little wire.
