Back in business
Hi all,
Had a 6n2 which I sold a while ago for a diseasel focus for commuting. That got far too boring so with my bonus and promotion I treated myself to a decent motor.
Lots of ideas, lack of cash right now, however, I'll be making subtle mods etc. which could or could not turn into a project!
I love it! Different beast compared to my old 6n2!
New head unit will probably be my first thing, but with all the canbus stuff and fiddling I'll be taking my time.
Just going to enjoy her for now!

Re: Back in business
Any ideas on a decent head unit? I've always had Alpine but fancy something else this time. Would quite like something that can play dvd's plus all the usual and iPod plug in (in glove box preferably)!

Pioneer are generally my choice for headunits
They make some really nice double din units these days which looks great in the 9n3 dash

Thanks for the head unit suggestions. I'll have a look when payday comes. Spent my money this month lol. Got a K&N 57i coming, going to have the cone in a box. Got some honeycomb lower grilles on order should be here soon too.
My mate just gave me a dump valve he had on his skoda, not sure what it is though and I'm fussy so will probably just order a forge 007?

I'll hold off for the DV for now, I got a VW specialist near me so when I've saved some dosh I'll pay him a visit to get it all done via him.
Thanks for the comments James, I was on your thread the other day before I bought mine. Nice car man, really nice in white!
Cheers. Sam
