Low and wide polo blue gt

Post by Jamesbluegt »

Hi, I'm new to the forum and currently own a polo 6r r-line style (the 60bhp one :( ) thankfully I have just ordered a polo blue gt so a bit of a step up, I have ordered some wind deflectors and just wanted some tips on lowering and wheel spacers I want to go as low as possible on coil overs without f*****g up my arches and also a little wider so that the wheels are flush with the body on the back and almost on the front can anyone point me in the right direction as to sizes and good coilovers to buy and are 18" deep dish kingpin wheels a good idea or should I stick with 17" as the come standard?

Thanks in advance
James

Here is my BlueGT. Lowered with Eibach Pro-Street S Coilovers. aprox 70-75 mm in the back and aprox 40 mm in the front.
I stayed with 17" but a ½" wider and 13 mm lower offset.

The short wheelbase of the Polo helps so I don't actually scrape anywhere. has to be some "over normal" curbes and bumps before I scrape.

The bi-xenon and tint i factory yes. :)

Parked next to a Cross Polo today at work. (Just to make mine look even lower. And yes. Mine is wearing it's winterbooties. )

Ahh that's good then :) and the tint doesn't look as bad as I was expecting iv ordered it too but thought it would be lighter as it's from factory haha looking good :)
