Good idea! Please let us know as I was under the impression that the car came with an arm rest but that might not be the case anymore
How can VW change the specification on cars once orders have been placed. Surely you get what you order? :D

The arm rest was standard kit in my 2010 GTI. Personally couldn't care less if it's not in my new one as I never use it!
Other opinions are available. :D

I'm not too fussed if it doesn't have it but it would've been nice as I probably would've made use of it

Does anyone know of any decent detailers around the London/Greater London area?

Im trying to figure out what the pcd on the new GTI is, anyone got any ideas?

Cheers
The 6R is 5x100, as the 6C is a facelift I can't imagine they've changed it.
Cheers buddy, hope thats the case!

Confirmed 5x 100. ET on Parabolica's is 44.

Cup Arietta's work great as winter tyres.

Just received an email this morning via the VW Order Tracker stating that my car is at step 5 of 7. Vehicle Built and in transit. Does anybody know how long it takes to reach the dealer on average from this stage?.

Where are the Polo GTI 5 Doors built?.

Thanks :D

No Polos are build in Germany. Thet are from Pamplona in Spain.

The 11th diggit in your VIN number tells you the "Code" for the factory. For the Navarro Plant in Pamplona, Spain it is the lettet "Y".

Hmmm,

Picked up the car on Saturday, as mentioned on here......

Decided today that whilst my wife was at work in my car, I would give hers a detail and post some pics.

However, on giving it its first wash, whilst clay barring, I discovered a problem.

The bonnet has 3 small dents in it! Also, the leading edge of the bonnet has lots of scapes/scuffs on it.

If I was a betting man, Id say it was the hose off a pressure washer thats been rubbing against it and the handset has been dropped causing the dents...F¥ckin great :x

Thanks for that VW Aberdeen!

Will call them tomorrow to see what they say......

Oh dear not good. This was my reason for questioning whether to let the dealer prepare the car or do it myself as I've a few friends who have had swirls or worse inflicted on their new cars
