Can anyone tell me how to remove a rub strip from the side of the rear three quarter panel? It's not a permanent removal so I want to avoid damage to the strip itself. I remember removing them from my 6N years ago but they were just stuck on and where really easy to get hold of as they stuck out much further.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Rub strip removal?
They are stuck on - need to be removed with a hairdryer and some fishing line to cut the adhesive
The adhesive is impossible to remove though, and you will destroy the rub strip removing it
If its painted, itll make even more of a mess
Why are you wanting to remove it anyway?

Re: Rub strip removal?
Cheers Alex,
I've got a tiny dent just where the body flares out above said strip. If I get filling and sanding it's going to damage the strip. It seems this won't matter though so I'll see how I get on. Is there holes behind the strip?

Ah ok
I would try work around it
Yes three small holes for alignment
