Tracker systems

Hey,

I was reading about various tracker systems, mostly RAC ones and i wondered if anyone here has a tracker and also what they think of it.

I also wonder how much they reduce your premiums by? I would assume criminals would be wise to where abouts they place the transponders in the car. Does anyone have any knowlegde of this? all i can find on sites is the statistics and basically sales pitching.

I read a link off this site, a DIY tracker system with a PAYG mobile phone, it looked neat but possibly a little inaccurate.

tracker systems are very good pieces of kit - some companies will offer between 10 and 15% discounts for having a tracker fitted (in addition to any other discounts you have).

I don't have a tracker but was looking at the options - I think the Clifford one looks a good deal (or did at the time)
