Mine took 7 weeks from ordering to it being delivered to the dealer.

I've heard it depends on spec sometimes. Not sure how accurate that is. I have a 5 door manual with almost all the options. I ordered the week before Christmas and it arrived at the dealer the last week of Feb.

Yeah it went to Inchcape in Cheltenham .

Really pleased with it. Lease company also made sure that the dealer didn't clean it :)

Hi peeps!

Just registered, be gentle on me please

Looking to order a GTi in the next couple of weeks, just looking for a bit of feedback on one of the options I'm thinking of specifying

Namely the sports pack with DCC!

In real terms is it worth it?

I know it's only £250ish, but worried it'll compromise the ride, ie. Too soft on SOFT, Too harsh on SPORT, Then there's the increase in noise in the cabin, is it really intrusive?

Then there's the issue of coupling up the dampers with a set of Eibachs, which will definitely be on the cards, the car needs a small drop in height

I've test driven a couple of GTi's, both had the standard set up, and haven't smiled as much since my Fabia!

Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how the DCC is when in 'soft' mode. Had the car 6 weeks and 1300miles and never driven it not in 'sport' mode lol.

I don't find 'sport' to be too harsh or too loud though, for what it's worth.

Not sure if it's compatible with lowering springs... I have asked in another thread and just awaiting someone more knowledgeable with the answer 8)

Looking good, that's how they should sit!
