Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I did but I cannot do ESP-Sensor Unit (G419).
http://postimg.org/image/3o4oq0h0x/7b08356f/
When i start the car this error comes up with a few beeps but ABS and ESP light stay on.
I tried everything to reset the ESP but it does not want to do it.
This is the error I get on VCDS...

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
with vcds, go to 03 ABS brakes, fault codes and show us what is there. also, clear the error codes a few times

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Hi iichel,
There is nothing in error codes it says no error codes found. Even if I do a FULL autoscan, it stills does not find anything. Bad sensor?

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I have read through the symptoms and I might have to replace the EPS sensor unit.
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... e_Symptoms
Does anyone know where it is placed?
Thanks

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Perhaps the problem is not the sensor.
We all learned how to introduce the coding in ABS unit, but is it proper the coding you have used?
Coding can be accepted even if it is not correct ---> http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... #post11735 ... I recommend you read the whole thread.
Try with this coding:
210224E3416E00B7842624E782D400921300

Re: R: Polo 6R ABS CODING
habib_123, you cannot complete the G419 calibration, because you write group 69, which is for Audi A4!
You have to write group 63 (which is for Audi TT and Polo 6R).
I had the same issues of you and I've discovered by myself that Audi TT's procedure works for Polo 6R too.
So, enter again the only long-coding which was accepted by your ABS unit and retry the G419 calibration procedure writing group 63 into Basic Settings.
Keep us updated!

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Hi,
I tried the G419 procedure with Group 063, however it does not allow me. I will finish work in 3 hours and keep you all updated.
(It's unbelievable so many of us suffer from this problem and VW has made it impossible to do the coding easily).
I got a call from Birmingham Volkswagen and they said it would take up to an hour and they would charge £132. Rip off...

Hi iichel,
I tried all the codes, they didn't work. Thanks anyway. I shall try and do the G419 reset again now...lets see what happens....

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
This lets me choose which sensor I can choose. This is under Basic Settings -04
This is what I can choose, RHD or LHD:
This lets me choose if I have TPMS installed. Which I do. I am unsure about the Hill Climb Assist, But i doubt it makes a difference if coding works or not.
The bottom two pics are the ONLY things i can choose in coding "helper"
