Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
So byte 27 bit 1 disables the instrument lights. all is dark (except the modules that receive lights through CAN).
the error stays in the BCM lol
Tacho coding was wrong, I reset it to 140E01. thanks for noticing.
It's interesting to see your RLS coding, it's much different from mine (0728DD and 0228EE). if I try 0278DD it give an out of range error. :p

Try several times. My RLS gave me out of range errors too. I played with the ignition, and the fifth time it accepted coding.iichel wrote:.....

The RLS coding description:
0 Byte:
0 bit Highway Light Function active (above 140 kph)
1 bit Rain Light Function active
2 bit Rain closing active
3,4 bits
Light sensor correcrion: (ххх00ххх)Normal; (ххх01ххх)Earlier +20%; (ххх10ххх)Earlier+40%; (ххх11ххх) Earlier+60%.
5 bit Rain Sensor Inactive
1 Byte:
0-7 bits
Light sensor correction according the windscreen type. But the truth is as less the Byte value than headlights will switch on with the more darkest time. But you should not do this value less than 10.
2 Byte:
0-7 bits
Rain Sensor correction according the windscreen type. I don't know exactly what that value means, so if the rain sensor works correctly needless to change this Byte.

Subsystem 1 - Part No: 5K7 955 559 B
Factory coding: 0228DD
07 in my coding it's because I'm doing tests (as ever). NO LABEL IN VCDS.
I fear that these descriptions are not correct for this sensor model but I'm not sure...firegrafik wrote: The RLS coding description:...

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
As I checked the various coding, this description looks to be correct. My 5K7 955 559 B now has coding 0714DD. And high-speed light, rain closing, rain light functions work fine. With the 1 Byte value 14 beams switch on in a more darkest time than if it would be 28

@ciclo
Hi,
I have an issue with my car..
The warning lamp at the dashboard keeps burning..
After a scan it says this( photo):

*The error for back up lights have been solved.
I have replaced 2 lamps, but the error stays..
I have measured both cables, but they are not broken..
Iam clueless at this moment..
I was hoping/wondering if you could give me some information to solve this problem..
With kind regards .

Hi Rud031, I'm glad you're here again.
Indicator lamp K133 (red led driver door)

Hmm...Short to ground - intermittent... frequency 3.
Can you post a BCM scan (faults included)? It might just be a coding problem.
Please, can you tell us more accurately jobs you've recently done in your car? A brief history of the process.
You have replaced 2 lamps ...What lamps?
Do you have removed the driver's door trim (at any time)?

Thank you for your quick reply..
I will post the scan asap..
I have replaced 2 indicator lamps..
One of them is brand new, which i bought at the dealer..
What do you mean with trim?
I only had removed the doorpanel to change the indicator lamp and also the T28 terminal..

Re: RE: Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
You must of disconnected or damaged the small blinking red led on the door to indicate it is locked (like an alarm led), it has nothing to do you the blinkers(indicators).Rud031 wrote:Yes i took the door panel a few times..ciclo wrote:Ok.

Remove the panel again and check the connection on the LED.

I have measured the red cable(58 toT73a)..ORiOn wrote:You must of disconnected or damaged the small blinking red led on the door to indicate it is locked (like an alarm led), it has nothing to do you the blinkers(indicators).Rud031 wrote:Yes i took the door panel a few times..ciclo wrote:Ok.

Remove the panel again and check the connection on the LED.
It has no damage.. according to the multimeter..
If i lock the car, the LED does blink like there is no error..
But when i turn the ignition on, the indicator lamp pop ups!

did you already disable light diagnostics for backup lights?
http://www.gerritspeek.nl/vag-com_dtc-00901.html
byte 11 bit 6
