Hi,
When I put the clutch down, the revs drop past idle and it feels like its going to cut out. Recently during the cold weather and the engine running from cold it has actually cut out a couple of times leaving me with my dash lights on and me rolling down the road with no power steering and poor brakes.
Any ideas what this could be?
From searching the net I've found that it could be the throttle body at fault and cleaning it can fixed the issue, if it is this what does actually cause the issue, is the butterfly valve/flap sticking?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Revs dropping past idle when clutch de-pressed
Yes this is likely the idle valve not behaving properly
Pick up a can of wynns carb cleaner from halfords, remove the air filter, start the engine, and spray the can in whilst getting someone to rev the engine else it will stall
Youll want to get it as clean as possible
