Re: CNK's Polo 6R 1.4 Shadow Blue
I needed to reflash the radio image and edit some parameters on my Nexus 6P
Re: CNK's Polo 6R 1.4 Shadow Blue
Is it possible in my version of RNS510?
I used to try to change the startup screen but nothing came of it and I had to restore the factory settings. My mate told me that this is possible only in older radios..

haha no, the radio image of the phone android lives on a set of images (partitions)
- bootloader (EFI/BIOS equivalent on PC)
- boot (kernel)
- system (the OS)
- data (your apps and settings)
- modem (baseband connection)
- radio (other wireless connections like bluetooth, wifi)

Hi guys! I'm sorry that I was absent lately, I had a lot of other work and neglected my 6R..
I promise that it will change next year
Now I will have a better place to working with my 6R
By the way, I wish you all the best in the New Year!

Re: CNK's Polo 6R 1.4 Shadow Blue
Hi, can anyone confirm that the rear brakes from the Seat Leon Cupra FR MK1 match to the Polo 6R?
5x100, 256mm for discs like 6R0615601A PR-1KD
Brake carrier with pad retaining pin and brake caliper housing will fit to 6R?
I am looking for a replacement for these parts: 6R0615425D, 6R0615426D and I found auctions with complete brakes from Leon Cupra MK1.

Re: CNK's Polo 6R 1.4 Shadow Blue
Ok, so I decided to finish my started modifications this year and improve the brakes in my 6R.
At the beginning of the year I would like to change the brakes to the best possible - the choice fell on the brakes from Polo WRC Street (you know, I love OEM solutions).
I'm writing here because I don't want to torment Michel all the time ^_^
Here is my current list of parts that will be needed for brakes swap:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zJJ ... sp=sharing
I have heard from firegrafik and iichel that when we changing the rear drum brakes to disc brakes We should also change the handbrake lever.
Above the drum brakes, below the disk brakes /source: https://www.drive2.com/l/487403060306379435/
So I think, this is good for rear disks brakes:
I would like to know what brake cable I need?
If I understand correctly, I need two pieces of brake cable 1659 (6R0609721K ) and left brackets for brake cable (left 6Q0609639B + right 6Q0609640B). Part numbers are from PR-1KD.
I know I need to replace the front wheels bearing housing. What else do I need to change?

Hello Szymon!
Could you please write the PR-codes of your current brakes front and rear separately.
Also, have you checked, does your current axle have the holes for mounting the disk brake supports?
