The best part: Stupidly i thought there is no connector between the door and below A pillar [emoji17]. Lucky there is enough room for one wire to pass through temporarily. Now need to find the both female/male pins to go through this connector.

Re: Benzinkopf's 2012 VW POLO 6R MK5 1.2TSI 105HP DSG
Noted Ciclo. From the document, I see more terminal listing for 1K0 937 702 C from 0.5 - 2.5 wires but for the counter connector 1K0 937 722 D, there re only 1.0-2.5 wires types. I think I shud be using 0.5 for door exit/warning lights and side mirror puddle light, is that right?
If I'm reading the document correctly, should I go for 000979150E <----> 000979132E ?

Choose according to your criteria to use the empty slots in the T28 connector.

May be share photos of the bottom of door, where you have fitted the light assembly.

sure. but im working on the bracket. will share once that one ready. the photo above is to test fit the light module at the edge of the door panel and to see the projection image clarity as it is depending on the installed height.ag69 wrote:Looks clean and nice.benzinkopf wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2017 1:43 pm

Re: Benzinkopf's 2012 VW POLO 6R MK5 1.2TSI 105HP DSG
my custom bracket for door exit/warning light mounting. There’s some little tweaking needed for the 3Dprinted bracket still but I’m happy with the position and mounting.
But i do think its not really a good “warning” light as there’s quite a distance from actual door edge, but the position is the best due to polo door panel design.
I’m waiting for the type without the projector. With this projector logo, its not really light up the area but as showoff instead. So better with the white light model. plus that one dont have heatsink needed like the one with projector.
