6n2 sdi - tdi
Hi guys was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on swapping my 1.9 sdi engine for a 1.4 tdi as Im struggling to find a decent enough 1.4 tdi for sale, my sdi is just to solid to scrap it.

Re: 6n2 sdi - tdi
Reasonably straight swap. Engine, engine loom, clocks and immobiliser and it should be ok
The TDI however i think might have a higher pressure fuel rail so there may be other bits to swap
A poor bodywork TDI would be the best option then swap it all through to the SDI

Nice one mate il have a look into

The high pressure stuff is all done by the tandem pump and then the injectors themselves. It's just rubber pipe from the filter to the rails on the engine.alexperkins wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 1:41 pm The TDI however i think might have a higher pressure fuel rail so there may be other bits to swap
