Hi All im looking at options to repair our skoda fabia TDI, our son used it and run it out of oil, so consequently it seized, it does turn over and start but does not sound very happy, it has a BNV series engine in it and I was wondering if a BMS will fit as I can get one from a polo that is being wrecked, alternatively I was thinking of crank regrind and new bearings but can this be done in situ or is it engine out to remove the crank? look forward to your advice.
cheers
Skoda engine code : BNV260922
Polo engine code : BMS021560
